Happy Holidays and great health to all!! I have taken some time away to get realigned, refocused and recharged! I have gone through more "drama" this past year than I have in the past 48 years combined......WHEW!!
I am finally getting close to embarking on my new career....... close to getting my Xango business foundation formed properly............getting my personal transformation in line.......getting my perspective on reality back in order................

Back to reality.....the Annual Xango Convention was a HOMERUN!! 10,000 attendees, countless speakers, endless new faces and everyone was sensational!! Xango Annual Convention!

It's finally here......the Annual Convention for Xango in Salt Lake City. I am leaving early in the morning tomorrow, taking a short 7 hour drive, and settling in for about 5 days. It will be great to finally put a face with all the names, meet a ton of new people, and get regenerated about the business. The Swedish crew is rolling in, and it'll be great to reconnect with them!!

Progress.........

Oops.....missed a few days here! I am concluding my local health club visitations, trying to get a feeling on the local training market and seeking employment opportunities! The best response for employment has come from my first choice, believe it or not, and looks very promising! It is the largest health club here, one that I previously belonged to for over 5 years, and one that potentially could be a "homerun" for my business and soccer ties! I'll keep you posted....I'll know a bunch more in about 2 weeks. I am sooooooooo ready to get back to being productive, at least measurable productivity.........

You Never Know!!

What a funny world.......I received an email back today from a 5-star fitness resort in Fiji that I had applied to back in August!! I am a finalist for a fitness instructor position there!! I had forgotten about it, and also didn't think for a second that is was a reality. Yeah, you never know...... The weather has changeed here, maybe for the season. Happy October!

OK!! I am back home after a little trip, and it's time to get back to a regular schedule.....no more studying! I am heading out today to visit a couple clubs, trying to find someone to become affiliated with. Mission accomplished! I just returned from taking my other certification test for my personal trianing business and new career.......PASSED!!!!!! Yeehaw! Time certainly does fly.....

WOW! Where did a week go? I can't believe how time carried on for the past 7 days!! I have had my head buried in a text book and my eyes stuck to my computer studying for my last certification....taking the test in a few short days. It has been really awesome these past few days, hearing from people who want to train, telling me about people who need to train, and getting tons of very positive feedback regarding my new endeavor! Personal Training Evolution!

I am finding out just how many friends and acquaintances are suddenly in need of fitness advice, knowing I have been involved personally for 30 years, but now with my certifications I seem to be in demand! HUH!!
The studying is coming along, my brain is getting a solid meal of information, and I am ready to bring this thing full circle and take the exam next week!

Textbook Time!

This weekend signals the beginning of my next "chapter" in studying for my second personal training certification. Round one consists of a 675 page textbook, followed up by 3 video series and corresponding manuals for follow up! I am 500 pages into the textbook, finishing up Monday and getting into the video portion of my studying. I have always enjoyed "brain food", and I am getting a steady menu of it now.....what fun!! There's a whole lot to be said about acquired knowlege and new beginnings!!!

Another Training Thought.....

I had another training thought today.....what about the soccer club that I coach for? There are enough teams and players to keep me very busy, and at the same time strengthen the competitiveness of the local teams! I am also beginning to explore website design, taking a look around and gathering information. Change is incredible!! New thoughts, ideas, exposures, knowledge and windmills to chase!!

Myth Busters!!!!

Think about this......if you can have the best physical conditioning of your life, regardless of your age, would you take it? Yeah, it's a very silly question! This is one of the approaches I am going to pursue and promote with my new training. I might even call it Myth Busters, or something along those lines, and focus on the baby boomers......I am in the best shape of my life at 49 years young and I think it's time to share!!

Another month rolled by, and a new season is rapidly approaching......WHEW!!

The Ability To Communicate!

How refreshing is it to have someone that you can talk to about anything? These people are very few and far between, and are to be cherished and never taken for granted!! When you think about it, simple communicating seems so easy, so simple, and yet so insanely difficult! What a paradigm! Are people hearing what you are saying, or what you are telling them? Is it really crystal clear, and if not, do they ask for clarification? Are things simply taken for face value, or maybe a bit overthought and misunderstood? Might we be reading too much into things at times?

Make It Happen!

Another day......had a wonderful talk last night with a good friend who is active in the Bozeman personal training market, and it helped to answer some questions! I am going to stop by her club on Friday for a "look-see" . A voice from the past, planned of course, called yesterday and we had a super talk. She is still up in the air about a relationship.......funny, after she told me she is tired of being alone and of seeing her friends with their husbands, etc! A little mixed on the signals!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I am back from another trip, this time to Seattle for a dear friend and, as it turned out, some incredible self-evaluation that was incredibly awakening and powerful! Whew, I ripped off a calous that had covered some very fresh and tender skin, exposing some very deep and private feelings....another chapter in the emerging evolution of Michael J Weinstein! I have discovered some things that are going to require some diligent work and constant attention, but the new and deeply refreshing feelings already are sensational! WOW!! The weather in Texas is really special....the heat index was over 115 and I think a couple days it was 120!! Yeehaw!! Mom is doing great! As July winds down, it's always hard to believe how fast time continues to speed up! Remember our childhood, days went on forever and we didn't have a single care in the world. I applied for a position as a corporate personal trainer/fitness advisor. The human resources department has recommended me for a position, and I am going to test for it and finalize the hiring process by mid-September! Something is Brewing

Get ready.....something incredible is brewing, and I can feel it but still can't put my finger on it! Change is so welcomed and adored, never too spontaneous and usually kept a bit quiet. Alright!! I have had a favorable response to my initial resume work, having received some followup by a couple companies! Today I spent a considerable amount of time creating an awareness regarding my edsire to coach soccer, sending my information out on a few sites that specialize in that. It's hard to finally believe, but I am making plans to get down to Texas to see my mother.....she has lived there for several years and we have not made the connection yet, although we have had a few meetings in other locations over the years! What's Going On With Our Weather

Whew!!!! This weather is insane.....3 plus weeks now of temps in the 95-105 range and no end in sight!! We very rarely get temps like this, even in August, and never for this long of a period! Are we finally going to admit to the global warming issue, or just simply chalk it up to another "cycle" in our weather patterns? We are heading for a complete closure of all the wilderness areas, fishing is already limited to certain times during the day( eventual closures are looming), and everything is dangerously dry!! We are a very special and interesting species, having proven time and again that we can completely mess anything up, given enough time and effort!! Thought Provoking......

Michael Moore is at it again, this time he is gunning for the health care industry and rightfully so! Take the time to go and see his latest movie, Sicko, and formulate your own conclusions. Yes, the industry is totally driven by greed, on the behalf of the HMO's and the pharmaceutical companies, and needs to be completely overhauled!! How can we as a nation place a price on everything, even our health and welfare! Why do we need to make a hideous profit on everything, is this what our forefathers had in mind when we developed our capitalist system? There are 2 emotions that drive everything in this country that has to do with financial matters: fear and greed! It's time we as a people stood up for each other, it's time we take a stand and put an end to the relentless profiteering of the health care industry! Why do people have to die because they cannot afford insurance, and why do we so casually place a price on a human life? We have all had something happen in our lives, an event, a chance meeting, a new relationship.....that seemed to just happen "out of the blue"! It Has To Be Montana

Friday's trip to Yellowstone National Park, another new exposure for someone (which I so enjoy) and a classic Montana weather experience!! Upon entering the park, the temperature was 98 degrees. After venturing to see Old Faithful, we headed back and the temperature rapidly dropped to 53 degrees, hail was an inch deep on the road in some spots, and at one point we stopped and got out to make snowballs!! Only in Montana......the temp drops 45 degrees in mid-July, hail everywhere and dense fog!! Yellowstone National Park is such an experience, the vastness of the area and the incredible variety of wildlife make it a truly outstanding experience, one that should be experienced by everyone at some point!! Tourist Time

Hello again! I have been entertaining new visitors to Montana this week, and it's great fun to be able to get involved in all of the "tourist" activities that we seem to let pass us by! Today is a hike to Lava Lake, after a trip to Chico Hotsprings Resort yesterday! First, a relaxing lunch at the Garage Restaurant, a great hike and then a superb dinner at Boodles! How We Forget......

Finally home after a little 12 hour delay changing flights from Salt Lake City to Bozeman last night! Fianlly home after a great weekend in San Francisco with a very close and dear friend and his wife! The funny part about the trip was that it also invloved a 9 year old IOU for a golf game with Mark and myself.....how we forget why we get together sometimes, and why we also need to do it more often for the right reasons! Had a wonderful time, the weather was stunning, the food and people of San Francisco are a riot...can watch them all day! Brought home some sourdough bread for a few friends, along with some great chocolates, and some more excfellent pics! Mark and his wife had a great series of meetings about the Xango, and she is looking forward to getting her juice so that she can begin an assault on her allergies and her other slight health ailments...Mark is ready to take a serious look at the business aspects of it! A New Sheriff In Town

Here we go!! Today marks the official New Beginning! A new adjustment in overall life, attitude, expectations and environment. I am completely over the huge mortgage payment, the having to work to pay the overhead, the not taking time to smell the roses....free at last! I am readjusting my perspective on Xango, making it my retirement residual income as it should be, and lookng at the long term plan for building a HUGE network. When Is It Enough.......

Happy First of July!! With the recent attacks in the UK, when are we as a planet going to say "that's enough"!! Who is going to send the message to these terrorists that it's not ok to continue this! It's time to declare an open season, wipe out the entire international terrorist organization...at the very least at least cease the attention and news coverage. How could there be any rules concerning how these acts are dealt with, there sure aren't any rules when these acts are comitted! Home and Garden Beautification

The last day of June, the year's half way through it's annual run, and what a great day to make the house and yard show it's true colors! Thanks to some help from the resident roommate, and another stunning day with temps in the high 80's, the sun has once again kissed my skin and brought some great color and perspiration to my day! Another incredible day is brewing!! Yesterday the thermometer hit 99....coupled with a light breeze and zero humidity, it felt sensational!! I periodically pick up a motivational book as a refresher, and found myself browsing through the words of Vince Lombardi the other day. He still is the most profoundly straight forward motivator that I have ever seen! He makes reference to the quality of a persons life being directly related to the level of their commitment to excellence. I feel that there is no better description, nor barometer, for placing a measure on a persons relative worth! It also, in my eyes, tells me everything about that person that simple words cannot. It will always come back to the actions roaring over the relative whimper of words! Planning For The Last Half

WOW! It is hard to believe that this year is approaching the half-way point! Next week is July, and we are into the 3rd quarter....staring down the end of this year already. Today will be the initial planning for the 3rd and 4th quarters, along with the days normal business. I have to chuckle a bit about the pace of things these days. By the pace, I mean that the relationship we are accustomed to between time and space has accelerated at such a rate of speed as to almost be a total blur! Reconnect Today

Another incredible day!! WOW! Yesterday we had 90 plus degrees and it's coming again today! Summer In Montana

Alright! It's officially summer time, as of yesterday, in the great state of Montana! For the next 3 months, actually until mid-October, the residents of this outdoor enthusiasts paradise will try and cram a years worth of outdoor activities into our normal shrinking window of opportunity afforded us by the craziest weather on the planet! Today, the temps will be around 90, which is normal or maybe even hot by most peoples summer standards. Tomorrow could be 40 degrees cooler with the possibility of large hail or extremely high winds! We are still seeing snow melting and running off into the rivers here, the upper elevations where some awesome summer hikes exist are still shrouded in snow! We do have an abundance of water this year, after almost 7 years of drought conditions, and the tourists are once again flocking here in droves for their 1 or 2 week summer vacations! How soon we forget, how soon we take it for granted, and how soon we simply seem to forget our past relationships! Craziest Weather On The Planet

Montana has a tremendous amout to offer, from world-class outdoor activities to an incredible attitude and lifestyle, up to and including the most incredible scenery you can find anywhere!
