You Never Know!!

What a funny world.......I received an email back today from a 5-star fitness resort in Fiji that I had applied to back in August!! I am a finalist for a fitness instructor position there!! I had forgotten about it, and also didn't think for a second that is was a reality. Yeah, you never know...... The weather has changeed here, maybe for the season. What's Going On With Our Weather

Whew!!!! This weather is insane.....3 plus weeks now of temps in the 95-105 range and no end in sight!! We very rarely get temps like this, even in August, and never for this long of a period! Are we finally going to admit to the global warming issue, or just simply chalk it up to another "cycle" in our weather patterns? We are heading for a complete closure of all the wilderness areas, fishing is already limited to certain times during the day( eventual closures are looming), and everything is dangerously dry!! We are a very special and interesting species, having proven time and again that we can completely mess anything up, given enough time and effort!! Summer In Montana

Alright! It's officially summer time, as of yesterday, in the great state of Montana! For the next 3 months, actually until mid-October, the residents of this outdoor enthusiasts paradise will try and cram a years worth of outdoor activities into our normal shrinking window of opportunity afforded us by the craziest weather on the planet! Today, the temps will be around 90, which is normal or maybe even hot by most peoples summer standards. Tomorrow could be 40 degrees cooler with the possibility of large hail or extremely high winds! We are still seeing snow melting and running off into the rivers here, the upper elevations where some awesome summer hikes exist are still shrouded in snow! We do have an abundance of water this year, after almost 7 years of drought conditions, and the tourists are once again flocking here in droves for their 1 or 2 week summer vacations! Craziest Weather On The Planet

Montana has a tremendous amout to offer, from world-class outdoor activities to an incredible attitude and lifestyle, up to and including the most incredible scenery you can find anywhere! Now, the weather can leave somethings to be desired! 2 days ago, it's 85 and absolutely georgous. Yesterday, tornado warning along with large hail and weather in the 40's! Last night, it poured rain and it's continued through this morning....we won't talk about the winter weather, heck it's almost summer! And besides, anyone can put up with minus 40 and a little wind, right?
